  1. Going barefoot is wonderful fun but you have to start slow to let your leg and foot muscles adjust. You also have to be open to all the sensations you will feel through the millions of nerve ending in your bare soles as they caress the pavement and grasses.
    It is a startling experience to go barefoot because, socially and physically, it is totally different from shod walking. It is also a magnificent experience !
